Sealco Celebrates 20 Years in Business

Top window and door hardware distributor Sealco is celebrating 20 years in business. Since 1997, Sealco has been developing its window and door hardware range to include the biggest brands in the industry and offer the best hardware selection for fabricators and joinery manufacturers.

Sealco’s Managing Director, Derek Malcolm set up the Falkirk business in 1997 to offer a better service for companies looking for window and door hardware.

“Sealco was founded to help fabricators get the window and door hardware they needed, when they needed it,” explains Derek. “In lots of cases, this meant mixing and matching different brands to create the best hardware combination for individual applications.

“This might mean using a Yale cylinder, a handle from Hoppe and a Trojan hinge for one door – we created a service that offered easy mix and match on window and door hardware, delivered next day across the UK.”

Sealco has set the standard for window and door hardware delivered fast. By holding high levels of stock, it can deliver its 4,000-strong product range next day across the UK. Over the last two decades, Sealco has introduced more brands and products, including the popular Endurance range to offer window and door fabricators and joinery manufacturers the latest hardware technology. It also offers a full range of essential ancillaries.

Derek continues: “Over the years, we’ve managed to build a fantastic team that understands the needs of fabricators and has the expertise to recommend the best products for jobs. It’s all about making sure that getting hardware is as easy as possible.”
