How Yale Conexis app works

The app is available on both iOS and Android and gives you full control over the configuration of your Yale Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock.

When you download the app you get lots of additional functionality. You can send mobile keys to family and friends on their smart devices that will work for limited time periods – so if you’d like your aunt to feed the cat while you’re away you can give her a key that only lasts for the duration of your holiday. She’ll still need to knock on the door to gain access when you’re home! Similarly, you could give access to a tradesperson while you’re at work, so they can finish the job they’re doing. You choose the person and the time that they’re allowed access which can be anything from a few hours to a few weeks, or even more.

The app will also keep track of who is coming in and out of your home, so you know when your loved ones are home safe.

Upgrade your front door lock

You don’t necessarily need a new door to benefit from the Yale Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock as it can be fitted to your existing entrance door. As long as the door thickness is between 44mm and 70mm, and the distance between the centre of the cylinder and the centre of the door handle/ spindle is 92 mm. It is compatible with most multi-point locks which makes it suitable for composite and PVCu entrance doors. The Yale Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock can’t be fitted with Avantis multipoint door locks – but if you’re unsure speak to one of our door hardware experts at our Falkirk Trade counter.

Wireless

The Yale Conexis L1 Smart Lock is wireless. It’s powered by 4 AA batteries and there’s a low power indicator to let you know when they need changing. If they do stop, you can attach a 9v battery for emergency power.
